Choice Privileges is the loyalty program for Choice Hotels & Resorts, which has a dozen distinctive brands and about 7,000 participating hotels and resorts, with something for every budget. Most Choice hotel types offer economy and midpriced stays, although Choice is focusing on newer upscale brands, like Cambria and the Ascend Hotel Collection.

While Comfort Inn, Econo Lodge and other budget-friendly brands may be most familiar, the Choice Privileges program has a growing number of stylish brands where business and leisure travelers can earn and redeem points.

To redeem your Choice Privileges points for hotel stays, rates vary by property and date, with one night at the lowest-cost hotels starting at 8,000 points. The Choice Privileges program partners with Preferred Hotels & Resorts to let you use your points for stays at high-end hotels around the world for between 25,000 and 55,000 points per night. Choice Privileges members can also earn or redeem points at participating AMResorts, a collection of all-inclusive resorts in tropical destinations offering stays starting at 25,000 Choice Privileges points per night.

To know which amenities and benefits to expect when staying at Choice Hotels & Resorts, it helps to be familiar with the many Choice hotel types. Here’s a full rundown of every brand in the portfolio so you can redeem those hard-earned Choice Privileges points wisely.
